Heyaaa You Hopeful People ❤️

I hope you all are doing well!

There are times in life when we feel frustrated and irritated!

To be more simply said, disgusted at small things!

While feeling this way can be because of various reasons!

One common insight that can be concluded from all reasons is when our expectations don't align with our realities!

Having realistic expectations is important but sometimes we experience violation of the minimalistic standards/boundaries as well!

And that is emotionally unmanageable!

It leads to inner turmoil and cognitive dissonance!

So here goes my question!

What do you pretty hearts 💞 do to manage your frustration, anger or disgust when it's realistic in nature? What beliefs and action steps guide your responses?

Wishing to hear great insights from you all!

Regards,

Resilience 🥰

What do you pretty hearts 💞 do to manage your frustration, anger or disgust when it's realistic in nature?        It is dependent on the instance and the others involved.

Regardless it is helpful in my life to speak up and let anyone is involved see why I maybe frustrated when the expectation was totally possible.

What beliefs and action steps guide your responses?

I used to let it add up and then explode saying things like this is why......this caused more problems with people in my life.   My partner is one who always thinks they know better and OFTEN ticked me off by doing things and having bad outcomes because my expectations  where based on trail and error not just my whim.  when I showed them this is WHY...   another small frustration but working on it.

Most of the time when we share our vision it helps anyone involved not make shortcut or change of direction that will make outcome be frustrating.

Explaining my expectations ahead of time helps ensure the people involved see there is a reason I want things to be done in a certain way  for the outcome and then they can make suggestions so plan or thoughts were clear instead of a bunch of " i thought" talks after the fact etc.

Sometimes it is difficult to convince other share your vision

This is an interesting and real question, Resi! ϞϞ/ᐠ •⩊• マ∩

I will express my anger with an explanation of what made me frustrated in a loud voice but not yelling, so that the other person who caused the anger know and since it is realistic, then usually the other person felt embarrassed and would not mess with me (for a while) but I would make it clear that I do not take their nonsense behavior and there are boundaries and I guard my boundaries.
