Recently, I've been doing pretty well overall. I do have occasional bad spells, but other than that, things are good. I'm trying to get my grades up which at the moment I am doing okay I have a few missing things in my 5th and 6th hour because I had a depression spell. Now I'm up and kicking, Super happy to be back taking chats from so many lovely members and help them.

Okay no offense to others xD but this is like the most honest answers for "how have ya been?" I've heard from anyone in a long long time. Honest and elaborative. It is so respectful, in a way, expressing the genuineness in holding the conversation and carrying it forward with meaning! I love it sooo much!

I've been okay mostly, rough patches here and there but we do keep trying to crawl forward hehe.
Today was a good day though, I had a fun conversation with a friend and it put me in a happy mood, then we also went for dinner to a nice-ish place and I had one of my favorite dishes after a long time, it's night here now, hoping to catch some sleep soon! I appreciate you asking. <3

Haha, I really did get into the details, didn’t I? When I talk about my bad spells, they often involve a lot of procrastination. I find myself putting off tasks that I know I need to tackle, which just adds to the feeling of being overwhelmed. It’s that sense of just feeling “blah” or unmotivated that makes everything seem even more daunting. Those moments can be tough; it’s like I'm stuck in a rut where nothing seems appealing or inspiring.
Glad a conversation with your friend put you in a happy mood though! It sounds like a lovely friendship

Aw I can relate with those stuck-y ruts, and with procrastination, it really does feel so difficult to gather enough appeal to do something, even if it needs to be done. Usually maintaining a more disciplined approach, positive self talk and scheduling helps me overcome these phases. Have you tried something that works for you in these bad spells, or something you want to try?

Yusss, it is the Khow-Suey noodle soup dish, coconut flavored broth, with a multitude of condiments and garnishing, and noodlesss. Its comfort in a bowl. A popular dish from Burma/ Thailand! 🥰 The "popular" one is non-vegetarian, but I prefer the vegetarian alternate only!

During challenging periods when motivation wanes, it often feels like nothing truly makes a difference. However, I've developed a strategy that helps me overcome procrastination—the 10-minute rule. This technique involves setting a timer for just 10 minutes to focus on a specific task.
The simplicity of the rule is its strength; committing to just a short burst of work makes it manageable and less daunting. Once the timer goes off, I reassess how I feel. If I’m in the zone and the task isn’t as overwhelming as it seemed, I might choose to continue working. This approach not only helps me break through the initial resistance but also allows me to gauge my energy and motivation levels without the pressure of committing to a long work session. It's a small but effective way to create momentum and gradually build back into a productive state.

My go-to foods are anything that involves potatoes; I just can't get enough of them! Whether they are baked until golden and crispy, fried to perfection for a satisfying crunch, or creamy and rich when mashed, potatoes always hit the spot for me. They’re so versatile and can be enjoyed in so many delicious ways.
However, when it comes to comfort food, nothing beats a classic grilled cheese sandwich for me. There’s something truly special about the golden, buttery bread paired with gooey, melted cheese. And to make it even better, I love pairing it with a warm bowl of tomato soup. The combination of the savory sandwich and the tangy soup creates the perfect balance, bringing me a sense of nostalgia and warmth every time.
