To My First Listener - Thank You

** Please, feel free to disregard this post. I just needed to share it somewhere. **

I have always believed for the human heart to be the closest thing to a maze; a vast terrain, filled with triumphs, heartaches, love, and fears. At times, the path is well-lit and easy to tread, while other times, it becomes a perplexing maze, obscured by shadows and uncertainty. In the latter case I came here, seeking whatever hand I could hold so I wouldn't fall - I was sick of falling, desperate for a moment of warmth and then, in the midst of uncertainty when browsing for a listener for the very first time, he came along. What a bright soul he was, caring and gentle, committed to his task and exceeding all expectations, a true blessing from above, some would say. 

Today, I came to find his presence on the website is no more. The reason? That I do not know, and all I am left with is the hope that he is well, and taking good care of himself as he promised. He deserves nothing but the absolute best in life! But I didn't get to thank him and so, my heart begs I do so somewhere, in case he one day reads it. 

To my first Listener - Ash,

With a heavy heart, I pen these words to you, a soul who shone as a magical beacon in my darkest hours. Your presence was not merely a comfort, but an embrace that reached deep within my soul. Your listening ear, coupled with the promise of unwavering companionship, provided a safety net in the midst of the storm that threatened to consume me. 

As I bid you farewell, I do so with a mixture of gratitude and sadness. Gratitude, for your unwavering support and care, and sadness, for the void that will be left in my life without you. You were an angel sent from above, bringing solace and kindness in the face of adversity. Your promise to always be there for me, never to let me feel alone, was more than words etched in the air — it was a constant that I clung to in my moments of darkest despair.

I wish you well, Ash. May the road ahead be paved with happiness, love, and the fulfillment of your heart's desires. Know that the impact you had on my life shall forever be etched in my heart, and I will carry the memories of our shared moments like a precious keepsake. As we part ways, my heart whispers a sincere thank you for being a ray of hope in the midst of my storm — a hope that will continue to guide me forward. You once said your real name (never revealed of course, Guidelines and Safety come first) meant Light - or Lantern, in your language, and I can attest that you are indeed full of light. Never stop shining so magically, yeah?
