TW- SH
How do you avoid SH when something upsets you? I feel like the only thing that makes me feel better is SH. I am in therapy and on meds but all works for me is SH :(
Hey there. . I'm so proud of you for starting therapy that is a big step. I'm really sorry your going through this. Here are some suggestions I hope they can help a little. Also if you ever need to talk im here ♥️. One alternative is holding ice if I want to self harm it helps to help yourself slowly replace sh. Another thing is to distract your hands take up a hobby like writing, fixing something,knitting are all good activities to help. Also take steps to get rid of items that could be used for sh. Also fighting against the negative thoughts by writing them down then replacing them with poitive thoughts can also be helpful. You can do this. 🎉.
Hi I'm really sorry you are going through this. But I'm so happy for you that you started therapy. You can try putting a band on ur wrist and flick it everytime you feel like self harming. This way you'll feel the pain and it'll calm you down but it won't have a very drastic effect like self harm does. I hope you get okay soon . *Sending you a lot of love*...I'm really proud of you 🍀🙌
