Let's talk it out
@emotionalPenguin3684
I would like to listen to you here. You said you were here a year ago then came back now. I assume circumstances rose that made you come back ?
It must be really tough on you to go through it. And it definitely adds to it when you are unable to find help or an outlet.How do you usually cope with such relapses? Any techniques that have worked before?
As much as we need other people around us for company and support (after all we are social creatures), the trick about doing that is while relying on them we have to also have a certain healthy level of independence.
Like, you just said it is not easy for you to trust people. And that might be from previous experience or from what we see from people. No one is perfect all the time, not them, not us.
So instead of investing our energy on trying to see how others perceive us or what they think of us, it would be way better for us to invest that energy on building up our self confidence and independence. It will be healthier for us and helps us survive because with other people there are no guarantees, no matter how close they are. The only person you can truly count on for being always there for you, is you <3
