On Monday I had 3 out of 5 toenails removed i have to say I've suffered with ingrown toenails for years and they're painful.

I've had the procedure done before and I seem to get a few years of relief from it and starts over again

I'm in pain more today 48 hrs post procedure everything is awake and starting to feel body get into full recovery mode and healing process in full force. Slept alot today.

I'm in a walking boot for 2 weeks till my post procedure check up appointment im doing alright for the most part just taking things slow and resting up

My doctor is so wonderful and I've had him for years now he also did my Achilles Tendon lengthing surgery and hammer toes surgery as well too 3 yrs ago he's amazing surgeon.

Sendme lots of love and comfort and healing thoughts my way πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

My husband had the injections where it destroys some of the nail route. It just makes them narrower and it seemed to solve his issues and 10+ years he hasn't had to do anything else after the initial healing and even that was just a bit of tenderness.Β

I think it looks weird but as long as he's not sticking his feet by my face neither of us care.

It was only his big toes though, not sure how effective this would be on smaller ones if someone still wants to retain a nail on those ones.
