Appreciating what is easy to take for granted.
There are some days I just feel like I haven't done that much in life. It's easy when comparison kicks in. But, we don't know the full scope of anyone else's journey and they things that haven't worked out for them either. I try and make a small list of things that I've accomplished or that are worth celebrating. I would love to hear yours too.
Today's list:
Being halfway done with undergrad for a counseling degree.
Having and keeping a job I'm good at.
Growing as a person.
Figuring out my favorite tea and actually having a couple cups of it.
Being intentional with self care.

Aw this is so beautiful and vv true, it's hard to notice the otherwise quite routine-ish/ mundane things in life, let aside appreciate them when we feel it's nothing worth acknowledging, or worse when the feeling of comparison and not doing enough sets in.
Incredibly important to take out mindful pauses and acknowledge, appreciate and nurture the good we have and the good we do.
