I met a great girl in college, but i was too scared to ask her out. Is it too late to fix my mistake?

Hey, i need help. 3 years ago, i met a girl when i went to college. She was, to be honest, my ideal girlfriend. I mean, we were both very similar. We both had very geeky interests. We were both pretty smart. We were actually incredibly similar in most respects. But the biggest thing for me, she was a very outspoken conservative. I never thought i would run into another conservative in college ( i mean, i've heard plenty of horror stories of how left leaning colleges can be).

To be honest, she wasn't the model type. Actually, she was pretty nerdy. But i thought she was pretty damn cute.

Anyway, i wanted to ask her out. But i just never could work up the courage to do it. And, before i knew it she transferred to another school. I lost my shot, because i was too scared to push it. Yeah, i know, i can see the comments right now as i'm writing this. "Stupid beta cuck". I know, i probably come off as a major beta right now but i want to change that. She was smart, she was cute, shes one of the few people Ive met who actually really liked my sense of humor, she always wanted to talk to me and even approached me on her own, she seemed interested in me and I just let her get away. Every day for almost a year, she talked to me.

But i was just too shy to do anything. Plus, i always felt she might have been "too much" for me. She wasn't too much of a dominant personality, in person at least. Online was a totally different story. She'd get into arguments with liberals all the time, and after awhile would generally insult them. Like "You do realize universal healthcare will completely bankrupt our economy, right? And totally goes against what the founding father's fought for, right? Oh wait, you're retarted. Don't worry, you're still special!". and My god, look what she posted about 9/11 and our generation ( https://imgur.com/a/XUZgIVX .) I was kinda worried i'd be biting off more then i could chew.

Anyway, I mean, from what i could tell, she'd never had a boyfriend. Like, ever. Plus, She actually might have been interested in me.

I mean, we talked every day. Not just a simple hello, but a full conversation. ABout politics or really anything. I don't remember specifically, but we'd talk to just each other for sometimes up to an hour. Not to mention, She made it a point to talk to me. She approached me, i didn't approach her. Whenever she'd come to campus, she'd always sit at the same table i did. I even conducted an experiment, i sat on the opposite side of the lobby andshe STILL sat by me. She even laughed like crazy at my, rather lame, jokes. Loud, i even got her to snort with laughter.

It's been 2 years since we talked. I've considered messaging her, telling her how i felt. Or just saying hi, but i don't want to appear too desperate either. How should i approach this? I mean, she still doesn't have a boyfriend from what i can tell. Is it too late? Would i have had a shot anyway?

@persistentWalker5484 Curious if perhaps you were hesitant because it turns out that while you two may be conservative, personality wise she might not have been a good fit. Is someone who is so derogatory towards others (r-word, among other things) someone you think you'd be happy with?

It's up to you but if she's so vocal about others in such a way in a public venue, don't think she isn't or hasn't said the same things about you or your friends or people you like, etc.

@ReadBooksDrinkTea Yeah, that's one of my points of contention. That she might have been too much. If that makes any sense. Plus i was honestly just too shy. I could never get the words out. Anyway, she was always super nice to me, though. Plus, i was really the only guy she talked to.

@persistentWalker5484 If she's "too much" then there's nothing wrong with not wanting drama. And...honestly, just because she's nice to you doesn't really matter much. She could easily turn on you. People like this might make exceptions for their friends, but often even their friends and loved ones don't escape this.

Personality wise, i'm kindn of more mild mannered, she's nice but somewhat alpha minded. If that makes any sense. I know, i must sound like a total beta cuck right now, but it's true.

Her online personality is a complete contrast to how she in real life. She's sweet in person, but abrasive online. I guess she really only goes off on liberals.

Not to mention, i'm literally the only guy she ever talked to. Just girls, aside from me.

@persistentWalker5484 I don't prescribe to the beta cuck or alpha male or whatever that nonsense is. If she's too much, she's too much.

There might be a reason why you are the only guy she talks to. She may not see you as a romantic partner but as a "safe" guy friend. Not trying to be harsh or anything, but that's always one interpretation.

I believe in Alphas and Betas. If i wasn't such a beta, i could've asked her out.

Anyway, the whole thing of only talking to me and only me even started when we first met. Seriously, i met in within a group of high school friends. My peer group from high school was sitting together. I joined them, they introduced me to her. She was kind of quiet, i started catching up with my old group. And She kept talking to me though mostly. Plus that same night, when i went outside and sat on the bench waiting on my ride, she sat by me. It's not like i was the only person out there. There were quite a few people out there. She chose to sit by a complete stranger. Not to mention, when i mom came to pick me up, she said "Hey, is that your girlfriend?", "Nah, that's my mom" and she started giggling. (Come to think of it, that was the only time i saw her with my peer group.)

The next day, i sat beside her and we started to talk, and from that day on, she always talked to me.

Not to mention, the last day of class before Christmas break. Class ended early, like way early. At least an hour and a half before normal. We both waited on our rides, she sat by me. She never called her ride to get there earlier. She just talked to me, only me. never looked at her phone, moved or anything.

So... i'm not sure, i mean you could be right.

@persistentWalker5484 I mean, what I presented was certainly only one interpretation. If you were the only guy she talked to and she gave you her full attention then it might still be worth a shot in getting in touch, beta or not. Maybe it could turn into something, maybe you'll find she's changed and that it was better you didn't ask. You don't know unless you ask.

@persistentWalker5484

Don't talk directly to her..

Make a situation for her That it's happening by nature.. But don't talk her, ignore her

Inshort It won't work out if you initiate the step, if she is coming to you Then things are easy for you And talking about politics is stupid..

@persistentWalker5484

it's complicated science, Ignoring her will make a good rapport between you guys, Tho it's already too late - it's been 2 year.. You will become a loser IF you try now, if you don't try,, the 2 year time will become positive in her eye, But yea You have to make her think about yourself

Be like she don't exist

Be like You forgot her completely

And also Be like She don't know anything about you.. Things you told her about yourself Do the opposite of them,

if you don't follow me You are allow to follow yourself, but after some time She will lose respect about you, if you tries to initiate the step!
