Riddles!

This topic is about short riddles, because not everyone likes to do the larger logical puzzles. If you do like those, then click here.

If you've guessed the riddle, you can immediately post another one yourself. Let's keep it going. yes

I will start with this riddle:

Would the weight of the fuel used and the bird correspond?

DarkWolf OP March 23rd, 2016

@lazyKatz

That was the answer I was looking for, the weight decreases because of the usage of fuel. So depending on the weight of the bird the bridge won't collapse. yes

Didn't think I'd get that correct, it was just a wild guess.

A woman was horrified to find a fly in her tea. The waiter took her cup and went into the kitchen and returned with a fresh cup of tea. She shouted, "You brought me the same tea!" How did she know?

Gman1246 March 23rd, 2016

Lipstick on the cup?

@Gman1246

Good idea, but that would probably be seen by the waiter too. Can you think of something that the waiter can almost not notice?

Nope, they removed the fly and gave the same tea back to her, in the hope she wouldn't notice.

Had she already sweetened/creamed it, therefore noticing at 1st taste/glance it was her original tea?

Pheww! I thought it may have been too obvious to be correct. Don't ask me, as a former Bourbon Street bartender and sometimes server, what WE did when things were returned to the kitchen or bar. It'll gross you out big time! Bottom line, don't complain unless you HAVE to. And if you do have to, please be pleasant about it. Into your life less foreign objects and fluids will fall!

King in the woods

@Gman1246

You only need to add something to the first word, and then the answer is correct. Hint: The king is higher/bigger/taller than the other letters.
