I will start with this riddle:
What is easy to get into, but hard to get out of?
How do you put a giraffe in a fridge?
Only with extreme caution!

You are right, you need to be careful. But basically, you open the door, you put in the giraffe, and you close the door. (bare with me, this will make sense later)

How do you put an elephant in a fridge?

You remove the giraffe first before you put the elephant in since they probably won't fit in together.

Same way as the giraffe? Open door, put in elephant, close door.. that's not correct. Can you think of a reason why it's not?
