I have no one. Except my family. Why isn't that enough?

I don't know how to make friends now that I'm in my 40s. Anyone have advice? Wisdom? Hugs?
I have a therapist. And my wife. But I need someone to talk to who isn't my wife or my therapist.
Help?

IMO everyone needs an outlet .... a family is not enough and even a therapist can not be there outside of your appointment.
do you have any hobbies that seems the best way to make friends anymore lots of meet up groups over biking / hiking / wine clubs / golf outings...

I know what it's like to want to talk to someone who can just listen and just be there for me. I have a great therapist but sometimes I just want to be listened to and not analyzed. Feel free to message me. Take care
