Is anyone else thinking of cutting off some of their long-time friends?
I feel like I have held onto the wrong people for the wrong reasons. I am now seriously considering cutting off a few people, some of whom I have known since I was around 12 years old (I'm 32 now). All of the people in question are online friends, most of whom I have never met in real life. My only major problem right now is guilt and timing; I feel like suddenly blocking everyone out of nowhere would be a bad idea. Does anyone else have any experience with things like this? Is anyone else going through the same thing currently? Would really appreciate some input 😊

I've been here many times, and I definitely want to say try not to feel guilty! Surrounding yourself with positive people is healthy, and online friendships can evolve too but first and foremost you deserve boundaries that work for you. Giving this a bump for others to chime in!
@Heather225 Thank you!!!
@DitaBear
anytime!
I am 21 year old and dealing with lots of friendship heartbreakups and i was holding onto wrong people so just i cant be alone but it was hurting me so one day i cut them off sometimes its better to be alone and enjoy your own company than be with fake friends who tends to be your friend but dont like you or do any effort for your relationship with them.You will find your people soonn!!!!
@DitaBear
Sometimes especially with online friends it does not need to be blocked........... just respond less and less and then it is over. You can move on and if they cannot take a hint you can block them.
