An Appreciation that is Long Overdue

This is honestly a post that I have been meaning to make, and although the timing isn't the best, I still think that it is worth it. @Mack - there's honestly a lot that I want to say that can't be described well in words. But bottom line, I appreciate you a lot and what you have done here for so many people.

Ever since I met you, you have been such an inspiration at the very least. The way that you are not afraid to share your views about anything, stand up for those who don't have a voice, and show so much compassion and empathy toward so many people— it's such a beautiful sight. Also, there is so much more I can say about how you have supported me through some fairly dark moments in my life and provided that little bit of light that resonated with me, even now. But to keep this brief, you have been such an important part of my life up to this point.

Although we haven't talked much in a while, the memories that we had together here on cups have stayed with me these past few months, and they have actually motivated me to keep going. You have showed me that I can be cared for and loved as a friend, and I will never EVER forget that. Though we have drifted apart, I still feel that we have that kind of friendship bond, one that cannot be withered through distance, conflict, or anything, and I will treasure this for a lifetime. It means more than you will ever realize.

To conclude, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for existing, for touching my heart and those who have had the utmost pleasure of meeting such a wonderful and compassionate soul as you. I will never forget you, and I wish you the very best with everything. And remember— even if it is difficult to believe this during a time of struggle, you are not alone, okay? You have your friends by your side, welcoming you with open arms. Never forget that. ❤️
