How can you tell if a parent is emotionally neglectful?

I think that is a very hard question as peoples emotional styles vary and frankly some parents really really struggle ... there is no how to in being a parent and some make serious errors in doing things they read or heard and the kid or kids feel disconnected .... many people have their own battles and sometimes as kids we do not see it until we are grown

@orangeSail337. Being emotionally neglected can be misunderstood many times so there is no such parameters for being neglectful or not. Sometimes parents are trying to care but end up child feeling neglected. Try your best not to be neglectful.
