Struggling *Trigger*
I've been quite a mess lately. Cutting, burning, purging, restricting, taking diet pills. I signed a contract with my therapist, so now I'm 3 days clean on 4/5. Restricting isn't on my contract. it's my biggest habit. I'm healthy weight, but i feel so fat. I'm not comfortable in my body. I'm skipping meals, and relying on artificially sweetened beverages. I know its not healthy, but the calories!!! Then last night, I binged on cookies. I'm a mess with food! I'm just really anxious, and that makes me feel fat. I think I need help, but I'm not super-skinny anymore.
It's okay to feel certain ways about your body, that's what makes us human. However, if you believe that your habits may be harming you in ways you don't like, seeing this is the first step on the road to having better habits.
Usually what I tell people going through a similar situation as you is that it takes time. You can't just automatically correct everything overnight and expect it to stick forever.
