does anyone else get so much anxiety when they eat so little but i just can’t eat

@footballgaelic Sometimes eating disorders don't occur because of our self image. They occur because negative feelings affect our appetite directly. Overtime the place in our stomach that connects to the brain and causes the feeling of appetite atrophies, causing food to be a stressful expereince. This can create a vicious circle and push you even further away from doing progress with food... This is exactly what you are dealing with now and I've been dealing with a few years ago. Try to have things that have a lot of calories to start with, things you like and can start motivate you to reagain your appetite. Also, receiving therapy can be very helpful to help you set a scheule and keep track of your progress as well as motivate you and help you get rid of anxiety. At the same time we are all here to support you troughout this journey! Please don't hesitate to connect with a listener when you are feeling overwhelmed! @footballgaelic yes appetite can get affected with anxiety and depression.
