Hi, I am a teenage triathalete and I realized I am dealing with female athlete triad (amenhorrea, fatigue) and also that I never fully recovered (or at least more than half way) recovered from my eating disorder (3 years ago) as I still restricted food. Now I am so much more open, but I realize i need to stop excercising to regain my health completely. This is hard not because I want to excercise (I hate workouts!) but because I love my team, coach, friends, being a leader, teaching people, increasing performance, and competing, It will be very hard for me to let go, at least until I feel better, but I know it is necessary.

I hope you feel better soon! I suffered from a minor case of triad (I ride horses almost every day) and it was tough giving up riding a for a while until I was back to normal. Maybe consult your coaches about having a health restriction but request still being apart of them until you're healed. You can do it. Good things come with time.
