I have visual perception so it's hard for me to line up the numbers when doing math it also takes me just a bit longer to grasp new formula and stuff .

I hope you know that having dislexia doesn't mean you aren't awesome!!!!! Because you are!!! So you are a bit behind in math and stuff, lots of people are to, but I bet you are super great at other things!!! Don't ever feel you aren't smart or capable, or as good as anyone else! That's a lie being whispered in your ear, if that's what you're hearing. God loves you!!! He made you so good at lots of things!!! So cool you're on here! Go and chase your dreams - you can reach them!!! 😃

I have a math calculations disability which makes anything involving math difficult for me. I graduated high school in May this year, but I only took one Algebra class in high school because it was so difficult. I also got put down for it a lot in school. I had an IEP which helped, but my disability does still make every day life difficult.

I have Dyslexia and Dyscalculia, I am awaiting an assessment for Austism. I have a few physical issues as well. I have bounced around in work usually lasting only a few months but never lastign any longer than a few years. Until now, I have been in the same role or 5 years as of tomorrow, however, the last two years have been an issue since they brought in target numbers and accuracy ratings. Now I am struggling.

I suck at math. I am trash at it. I can't do it.

My family also thinks I have ADD. (Not ADHD, search it up.)

Hello 👋 I have adhd but not sure what kind of learning disabilities I have. I can read I just can't read for long periods of time. I have to move around a bit to process things. I do well with audiobooks but physical books unfortunately can't read them to save my life..:( And I want to but my brain won't let me.. Anyway, anyone else have this issue or feel super deflated because of your learning/intellectual disabilities? Please message me, thank you💜

@PeacefulWaters oh, it must be very hard for you. I think that also adhd is one kind of learning disability as it makes you harder to focus.

@PeacefulWaters

I understand exactly what you mean. I have ADHD too and this is definitely one of the things I struggle with as well.

Thanks for messaging me. I didn’t know how common it was until I’ve met others but they aren’t easy to spot in person. Like autistic individuals, Adhd’ers gotta learn to mask and it can take its toll.
