I got a job opportunity….
…… And I could not pass it up. I haven’t worked since Covid laid me off about 3 years ago at this point, and it’s been stressful but I’ve been comfortable staying at home because I have a chronic illness. I am anxious and worried about starting this new position. What if it’s too much for me to handle? What if i fall ill again? What if I fail? I know I should be super excited, but it’s coming out as nervousness and just plain anxious. Say a little prayer that this works out for me!

Hey, those worries you have are completely understandable. You can also look at failure as a learning moment in your life that actually makes you self-develop. Usually, success actually follows only after several failures. Remember that your co-workers are there for you and they will help you get familiar with your new position. I believe in you!
@fairmindedKiwi295 I hope it goes well and doesn't overload you.
To those that have been following my job journey, (@globalBraid3744 and @AffyAvo specifically) this whole process is going so great so far. I’ve had to do some online testing, I met some of the team through Zoom, and finally next week l will meet the managers in person. It’s been a long drawn out process but I’m actually starting to get more excited than anxious. I feel like I’M the one that has the power to make my life better! So ‘my going to! Keep sending me good vibes, friends!
@fairmindedKiwi295 That's awesome! So good to hear there's a job you're excited about!

I am happy to hear that! How do your new colleagues and your manager come across? Are they nice?
They all seem nice. I start 10 of January. I’ve been able to meet a few of them so far. I can’t wait to get started!
