Hi everyone.  I come with a problem.    I have an elderly blind friend  whom is getting on basically everyone's nerves really. Mine, Mom's, and her Developmental Disabled Son as well.

May of 2023 I started to help her get to the hair salon in my town the first time on the bus and until March of this year  Dad would drive  her and me, to the hair place and I would put her back on the bus by herself to her apartment.

But March of this year- now  Mom has to come and help her with everything (getting her down the hill and across the street to the bus stop) and Mom sometimes has to do stuff like pour water for my friend or sort through her  wallet cards for particular reasons.

Also this friend wants to write a will so her son doesn't have the same headache she had when her husband (the son's father) died last year and didn't leave a will.   But according to my Dad they can't just "get an example form off the internet" but  she's not able to pyschially write anything anymore (beside blindness her hand gets shaky.)

Her son, now has to do all the cooking for the 2 of them because she's that blind now.  He's getting really annoyed about it.  Some other friends get annoyed about having to "help" her as well.

@Disneywoman It sounds like one of those situations where family and friends need to become helpers. You all seem to be doing your best to be helpers. I hope your friend appreciates everything her son and friends are doing for her. It must be distressing being visually impaired and aging. Best of luck in this situation.

Most of the time I litereally have nothing to do at the hair place expect just twiddle my fingers.   Today, I had to go and buy 1 gift card for this  friend (Grace).

After we're done at the hair place Mom has to do 20+ jobs for Grace and I'm just sitting on my behind and watching all-day news (CP24 I think it's a Canadian channel) and reading the captions that go by and all I want to do is go home and be at my computer which i hadn't been on since 10:55am.

Today (the day Mom switched the Hair appointment to on Grace's request),  I didn't get home until sometimes after 4pm and I had to not only run up and take my afternoon pill- I also had to empty the dishwasher  and yet Dad  had empty the dishwasher two other times in the recent past (nov 27th and Dec 8th).

I'm can't even go to the Dollar Store (near Grace's Hair place) or  the Grocery store next to Grace's apartment to get myself something like pop so I didn't have a nasty headache after not drinking anything since 11am?

Despite the fact Mom and I ordered Little Caesar's pizza and Mom didn't want to get me  any pop which mean I didn't get to have my normal 3 big drinks until after 5pm -I'm currently at 7:55pm working on the 2nd one.

@Disneywoman I feel for your situation. It sounds like a very boring day for an adult. Frustrating that, like you said, can't go to a near by store to buy yourself something simple like a soda.
