Too many

philosophicalAcai7803 July 23rd, 2022

Hi, I'm new here. I have diabetes, fibromyalgia, sciatica, arthritis, bursitis, neuropathy in both feet and legs, retinopathy, and if that isn't enough, I have hearing loss, and depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder, but that is in recovery. I also have PTSD.

I am a veteran. I have been married 5 times. I am 58. I have a congential heart defect. I've had two heart attacks and a stroke.

And yet. I am still walking and breathing!

Wow, hello! My name is FrenchMarbles, it's lovely to meet with you today and welcome to the disability subcommunity. Wow, you've indeed gone through a lot in your life and I love the positivity that you're still here and breathing!

I'm excited to see how you evolve on here, you're absolutely welcome here and thank you for introducing yourself!

Sometimes a positive attitude is all I have. I learned a long time ago that laughing is better than crying. That attitude makes for a much better patient also. Doctors want to work with you.

I go to a University Hospital system where there are many residents, students, and researchers. I never say no when my socialist wants to bring in someone who is studying something in my area of illness. Perhaps they may help someone, it may be me someday.
