I feel incredibly guilty for being sick. - Thoughts during a 5 minute bus ride
Short story: I went to a grocery store real quick this evening, and took the bus coming & going (5 minute ride), and on the way back from the store, a man in an electric wheelchair with an assistant came on the bus, and I started feeling incredibly guilty for having my cane with me. The following is a brainstorming thing about my pain, cane and anxiety.

Sorry to hear you're having to deal with that. Public misconceptions can be rough. Maybe those of us with invisible illness and pain that has no visual clues need to group together to show others. Similar to what's been done with slut walks.
