memory loss

do any of you guys experience a lot of memory loss/forgetfulness (possibly due to your depression)?... im not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but im at a dead end... the other day i had my first anxiety attack in 2 years due to the fact that i couldnt remember where i put my glasses. im not sure if its my depression thats causing me to forget A LOT to the point where its causing anxiety and making me more depressed or if i should go to the doctor and talk about my memory loss since it could be something else..??

Man I sat on my glasses and they cost me 200 dollars since they were heliomatic...

Things likw this happen the more hectic the life the more prone to them, a cool nice calm life does not male you feel bad about forgetting things, or showing up at work to kiss up your boss's but...

It's the stress of it all in life being a teen or a seniour...stress messes up.our minds that's all...

Hey yeah I also get this frequently. Forget where Ive put items safely and cant find them for days. I can lose days, hours or weeks at a time as a blank memory. Its frustrating as hell. From research Ive found the brain can go into a standby mode almost when its under threat of too much stress and cortisol in the system which makes the pre frontal cortex of the brain malfunction and we dont save the memory. Better quality sleep tends to help me hope that helps. @reddotonblack

Well myfriend, I slept my whole life and it didn't seem to help...πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š but it's ok.as theory...I slept 3 days at a time in my worst depression when I wasn't even eating anything...but yes, sleep is constructive, it works, everybody get 8 hous of sleep and 2l of liquids and we will all be happy camper working citizenz...

πŸ˜‚ yes thats the key to functioning members of society. Water and shut eye. If only πŸ™„. I had an MRI check etc but youre right its all linked to the depressive state. Knock on effects. Oh man I wish I had 3 days 7nder my belt. Even one night! Im 48 hours awake my anxiety is that bad. Hope things get easier for you soon or get your butt to see a Doc 😊 @reddotonblack
