Ways to cope
At the moment I am struggling with numbness and pushing people away because it is easier then lying to them about the way I feel, i would really benefit from any ideas on how to change these behaviours to stop pushing people away and also with any ways to come out of a pit and start experiencing happiness again

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you are having a hard time. The way you push people away and hide your feelings is probably a symptom of fear: to trust, to open up, to be judged, not to be understood, and so on. To connect with others, we need to communicate our feelings. If you want things to go differently, you have to make a change - therefore, you will have to work on yourself and what stops you from opening up to others. To help you better, your case should be investigated with a listener, or even better with a therapist. Remember you are not alone. Hope things can change, take care. <3
