How can I be productive if Im sad?

My depression is much better now but still I find it really hard to focus on tasks. So distracted. Does anyone have any idea on how I can ignore my sad emotions so that I can focus? Would appreciate any help!

Hello, it’s great to hear your depressions is much better. I also struggle sometimes with focusing on tasks. I found that for me I can listen to instrumental music( lofi music for example) and taking short timed breaks helps me stay on task.

Hey! I also have MDD and I understand what your feeling. There are also days I can’t focus and I don’t know what to do like I feel lost. I think Meditation is really helpful. I have only tried it for a few days and it helps keep me calm. Also you can try doing things that you like. Like your hobbies. On my part, i binge watch animes so it helps 🙂
