The 10 Point Plan
Do you ever reach crisis point? This tool might be helpful to you... the 10 Point Plan is a list of things we tend to do on a daily basis but usually underestimate as self-help coping strategies. The idea is to list ten things you can do to help yourself when you start feeling overwhelmed and need to take a rain check on your emotions.
Examples of things could be: have a bath, go on a long walk, speak to a friend, do the washing up.
The idea isn't to list difficult or challenging things - simply ten easy, general tasks that help calm you down when you are getting worked up.
