Mindfulness Meditation actually is working

My therapist gave me Mindfulness Meditation for 5 minutes a day--and it is actually making me feel calmer the rest of the day. I have chronic physical pain and emotional distress. This makes me feel like I am more capable of doing what I want to do during the day, and helps me make better decisions. :)

That sounds awesome! How does mindfulnessmeditation work?

That's great to hear! Yes, I do believe that therapists are very helpful. Anyone who needs help should see a therapist.
And I never knew it would really work. Thank you for your thread. I will do it more often.

@cuddlecat, thank you for this great idea and the book also. I have been reading various books to try and help myself also. A good one I found is one by Don Colbert, M.D. , called Deadly Emotions.
