I feel so alone...

CoolRainboom August 29th, 2017

Once I was a happy person. I smiled and I aimed to make the world a better place. I was always laughing with friends and playing video games and running around playing. Recently that changed. I'm in my early teens now, and for some reason my world turned grey. I no longer enjoy spending time with family and friends and I often scare myself with thoughts of suicide. I want to tell my parents but honestly I am so scared of them finding out about it. I am so confused and unsure. I am sorry this ended up in a long paragraph but it just feels good getting stuff off of my chest.

Aww . . . I am sorry to hear that. It sounds like a terifying experience.

It is extrememly difficult. Depression in teens is especially challenging because teens can be very good at concealing their feelings. But that's the trap.

Depression wants you to withdraw from family and friends. Depression wants you to fight on your own.

But don't let it win. Seek help. Speak out. Talk about it.

You can defeat it. You can overcome.

Hugs and heart

I'm really glad that you're feelling a whole lot better after spending some time in the community! That's great news!
Regarding your condition, if the conditions persists, you might also want to check out with your GP or family doctor just in case! Sometimes our depression might have other physiological bases and it's definitely a great idea to get a checkup and an opinion from a licensed practitioner! If you need any further diagnosis I'm sure they'll also make the appropriate referrals!
