I feel like I am going into deep depression and I want help
Hi I noticed I go through cycles with my depression.i talked to my therapist about this too and he told me if I am depressed to be out and with other people. For me, there are some signs of it before it is full deep depression and that's the time when I feel like I have a small chance to make some differences to make me atleast not go into a deep depression. I have noticed lately that I am in the window of having signs of going into a deep depression. My question is does anyone else feel this way and what do u do?
Hi there. I too feel the cycles of depression especially the deep depression. I get to the point where I can't do anything not even get up and get something to eat. Sometimes the only way I can get out of it is to set myself a very simple goal. It could be something as simple as getting up and washing your face. Or getting up and making a bowl of cereal. From that I begin to feel a little better and continue the process. When I feel that I am beginning to head down to a deep depression doing something is what helps me out. Whether it is simple as walking to the gas station and buying soda. Just that brief interaction and the exercise of walking and accomplishing a goal. Helps me not get any more depressed. For me, interacting with my cats also helps out. They require attention and will seek it out. Thus forcing me to do something.

Yes that did help thank you and I'm going to try that. I haven't tried going on a walk and going to a store but I will because then I might talk to someone or atleadt just see people and I think that could help
I'm glad that might help. I took a little of my own advice went for a walk to the store. It was cold and windy but at least the sun was out. I only bought a can of tomato soup but I talked with the cashier and one other person in the store. I'm very tired but my mood has improved a little bit. Good luck in your walk.
