Gaining / losing weight ?

hollyhighh August 5th, 2021

I used to have a serious case of ana. I was happy but I ended up sick and in trouble. Now I’m basically a stay at home wife and my weight isn’t 106( like it should be ) but instead it’s 132. I feel AWFUL. I have zero energy to do anything. Even the things I enjoy. Like quiet yoga in the morning. I saw myself in the mirror today and I realized that I need to make some sort of change. Please, advice ? Any opinion that might help ?

I've been trying to lose weight, too. One thing that's been helping me to stay motivated to work out is an app called Charity Miles. Basically, it's an app where you pick a charity you want to support, you pick a workout you want to do for that day (Walking, running or biking) and you automatically raise money for that charity for every logged mile. I've been using it since April 5th of last year and it's helped me a lot, physically, mentally and emotionally. If that seems like something you'd enjoy using, I'd recommend it. Also, don't try to lose too much weight at one time because if you overdo it, it can be unhealthy. Don't be too hard on yourself. Just take it day by day and do whatever you're able to like eating healthy, drinking enough water and doing whatever exercise you're able to at the time. Walking is a great one because it's low-impace but still effective. Yoga is great, too. If you feel like it, get back to doing it if it helped you. Again, just remember to take care of yourself, don't overdo things, don't be too hard on yourself and just do what you're able to at the time. I hope this helped and I wish you the best. :) 💖

I can definitely relate to this. I am extremely obese. I weight at least 248 pounds. From the years of 1991-2008 I was skinny and slim. I had started gaining weight in the year of 2009. Since then it has been going up. In the year of 2012 I had got down to weighing 180 pounds after taking those blood pressure pills that the nurse practitioner had prescribed to me (which is healthy and beautiful at my height of 5 feet 6). I don't have that anymore nor a team to work out with. From April 2013-May 2013 my sister and her friends was walking and jogging. I had went from weighing 230 pounds to 210 pounds. Every since then it has been hard for me to lose weight. I had went from weighing 260 pounds to 229 pounds when I was pregnant and was suffering from H.G. I have been going through a hate train against me, bad era for me, & hard times on me for these past 7 years too. When I was happy, I was smaller and slimmer. I have tried numerous of things to loose weight. I don't have the energy and motivation to exercise and eat less.
