Exhaustion

BluX August 14th, 2016

Don't know where to start. I've always been able to bounce out of my depression & carry on. But I seem to have given up. I'm just so tired of having to fight when I don't see what the use is.

@BluX hey there. I understand that depression isn't easy, and that fighting it for too long can be exhausting. But just because you're tired, and feel like giving up, doesn't mean that your efforts are in vain. Continue your journey, but don't push yourself too hard on staying positive. I'm not really sure of your situation, so I can't say much, but I feel your pain and your exhaustion :( Loss or lack of purpose can be a detriment, so hang in there, and don't stop looking. Feel free to pm me or any other listener if you need to talk about it. If you'd like, you can check out our self help guides:

Usually the 12 working steps are for people with addiction, but I find it a very nice read for those who wants to make a change in their life. Hope these help.

@BluX I can see that you've been throuhg a lot already, and it's no wonder that you're feeling frustrated and are wondering what the point is to keep going. I think you're strong for continuously trying, I think you're strong to talk about it. 7cups is here for you. :)
