Where do you begin?

Olive1Q82 August 14th

In the past few years, I’ve felt like I have so many problems I don’t know where to begin “fixing” everything. Where do you start when you have so many different issues? How do you start?

My depression is very severe. So, it’s hard to commit to anything. Where do you commit when it’s all you can do to throw on clothes and go to work?

i want to do and be more than just going through the motions.

@Olive1Q82 first place to start, is finding what makes you smile, could be a hobby or interest, a family pet, or something as simple as watching the sunrise🙂 then try and do that as often as you can, celebrate those small things, be proud of what art project you just did etc.

if you celebrate every small thing in life, then you'll have more life to celebrate ❤

Thank you. 💛

I think I’m discovering that I’ve relied heavily on others to bring me joy and happiness over the course of my life. Of course, people disappoint us and do not live up to our expectations. So, I think the first thing I need to do is be less co-dependent. I need to rely on myself. I need to stop expecting others to fill a void.

This is just something I’ve pondered and been thinking about this week. Maybe I need a co-dependency support group. 🙂

Ever have a large job or task .... how do we address it.... one step at a time.   Life is changing some days are better then others and what we do needs flexibility in making changes.   small things can slowly pull us out of depression or even a small funk.

If the first approach does not work .... we can try a different approach ...until we find what works for ourselves.   It is a marathon not a sprint and ONLY you can measure your results.
