Trying to get better
Now I’m trying… I’m going to therapy and taking all the strategies very seriously. I’m reading up on mental health concepts and listening to the experts.
but… sometimes I still think “what is this all for?” Why do I want to get better? I don’t. The truth is I don’t really care. But I have to avoid thinking about it too much or else I’ll lose all my momentum.
help?
@CherryBlossoms246 Maybe I’m wrong but it sounds like you want something. Maybe defining what you do want is the place to start. My guess is that you want to be happy. A second guess is that maybe you’re not sure you’ll find that happiness. But sometimes we are unsure of a lot of things and it seems the best thing to do is keep moving forward. I’m guessing you’ll find at least some of what you’ve looking for if you keep moving ahead with therapy. We often don’t see progress until it’s in hindsight.
