I've felt like this for around 4 years now. Sometimes it comes and goes every month, like there's a break for 2 months then for 3 months it's js 💩. Rn, it's on and off. Idk what to do. Idk if it's depression, haven't spoken out to a counselor cuz the one in my school is very untrustworthy and I'm def not telling my parents abt this. What do I do.

Well, I’m not qualified to give advice seeing as how I’m not a psychologist, but I’ll do my best. It sounds like you want help to feel better, but don’t want anyone to know. If you can hang in there until you’re 18, that’ll work. However, if this is affecting the quality of your life, you may need to talk to your parents sooner.

For me, I take medication that helps me. I also see a therapist. It’s normal to have 4 out of 6 days when you don’t feel great, but it shouldn’t be all the time. And it should t interfere with your activities.

What to do to feel better? I would make a list of things you like and try to incorporate them as often as possible. Comfy socks, warm drinks, walks outside, conversation with friends, sporting events, playing with pets, crafting, journaling, helping people, reading, etc. Moments of Joy help.

Best wishes and please don’t hesitate to reach out to someone if you need it.
