Just to Rant
So I'm a little upset and disappointed in myself right now, so I'd reapplied for community college starting on August 6th but I'm just upset so I'm 26 years old going for photo journalism and sports media, reason I'm upset is that I should've started when I got done with high school it at the time I wasn't really focused on it b/c school was a pain but as I got older I'm not enjoying the work I'm doing right now, I'm a assistant lead at warehouse job and I'm starting to hate it, I've worked in warehouse for 4 years, customer service for 4 years and security for a year and those paths weren't for me, so idk I'd just kinda regret not starting college at earlier stage, I mean it pays my bills and all but I'm just not mentally happy on what I'm doing
I graduated from a top 10 university at age 22. Severe burn out. Didn’t really know what I wanted to do. Never really used the degree. Doubt the degree gave me any Advantage over someone who got A degree doing something they wanted to do at age 30 like you will. I taught myself subsequent professions. You can’t compete with somebody who really loves The work that they chose, Because then Instead of hating it at the end of the day You’re still thinking about it after work And on weekends in the back of your mind and becoming The very, very best at it. Degree or no degree that is who succeeds.
