How to fall asleep

How do you deal with falling asleep when you don’t want the next day to start. I think I’d feel better if I could talk to a friend but I don’t wanna let anyone know how bad I’m doing.

reverse psychology.... sleep and reset is a good way to be ready i do math in my head sometimes to fall asleep.... 

embrace the day you fear coming .... expect it to be different and do not let yourself predetermine what the day will be.

Honestly I’m learning that it really does always help to reach out and talk these things through. Getting another’s opinion on things can help you see an option you didn’t before. I hope that makes sense. When things look so dark and like there’s no way to proceed, simply reaching out in some way can often result in the two of you working out a new plan. It doesn’t have to be anything drastic. We don’t have to solve the world’s problems today or even tomorrow. We will get things done in our own time and exactly when we were suppose to! Maybe I’m projecting a lot on the situation, and if so I’m so sorry. I’m new to this app and honestly just trying my best out here too. In the process of that, I have learned this app can be very helpful if you give yourself the compassion to use it. Check it when you’re starting to get anxious during the evenings or having trouble sleeping. Maybe you’ll stumble upon something reading a thread that really helps. There’s so much good info on here. And some really funny people too so that always keeps it entertaining. I guess what I’m saying is give yourself the peace and compassion to use the resources you have. And trust your gut a little. If you feel like you need to talk things out then do that in whatever way you find comfortable! It doesn’t have to be admitting the struggle to those near you, although I promise it’s always helpful, I understand that it’s sometimes too overwhelming. Start here. With strangers who won’t judge you and are in the same boat. We’re gonna be ok and we’re gonna make it thru this. We’ve all been here before. Find something small today to bring you happiness. Even if it’s dream shopping on Amazon, or coloring curse words! Whatever works for you! I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Hang in there! 🫶
