Hi, everyone. New here. I have struggled with depression for a very long time, although have only recently been given a formal diagnosis. I world love any feedback, coping skills, or any other helpful suggestions on how you deal with things like persistent intrusive thoughts as well as suicidal ideation. These are two specific things I don't feel as though I really have a grip on.

Hi @pookapad I struggle with intrusive thoughts more than suicide ideation, but I do the grounding exercise where you think of 3 things you can see, hear, smell ect... I tell myself they're not real and I also watch tv or read something on my phone to distract me from those bad thoughts.
You may want to talk to your doctor if the thoughts persist. They might suggest a med change for you.
