Distractions or Hobbies?

There is a specific list of activities that I love engaging in the most... but over the past few years, it seems I am less interested in them. Deep down I still have a passion for all these things even if they don't consist of interactions with other people. I am very much a solitary being anyway. I just want to find it in myself again to actually do MORE of the things I love that make me feel good again. I'm sure a lot of us are familiar with this experience and it would help so much to hear about yours.
How did you get over a bump in the road that stalled your enjoyment and motivation for the things you love doing?
Tell me about the things you love doing and how you came about picking them up or why and if you have put them down for a while.
Thank you for participating in this if you do 𥹠I want it to help me and also others if they happen upon this thread.

@Sydrid I love doing art and crafts 😁 when I hit a bump and just have no motivation to do the things I love, I give myself a break, then switch things up😁 like trying something new that gets me excited to try again. Perhaps a different kind of paint or pastels, drawing using woodburning, I made a working clock, glass painting. At the moment I'm making a fairy garden 😁 I find switching things up like that is a great motivation💗💗

I think that life is a unique mixture of things that are constant and things that change...
I've got several hobbies. One of them has been aviation. A few days ago I realized it has been my passion (with varying intensity) for 40 years now. Recently I was discussing going for an air show with my friend this year. On one hand, I am never bored with jet engine, prop or rotor noise. On the other, seeing the same things every two years, exposed to crowds, heat and extreme sunlight can be just boring.
I think that our brains do not see too much difference between our job and our free time activities. So, we are bored when we do the same things again and again, and we do not grow when we are not changing. Therefore I think that is important to have several hobbies and still find some new ones. For years I accepted only printed books or e-books, but now I finally gave up and started to use audio books (it took my eyesight to get more blurry), and it seems fine so far 😊 Also, I think there is nothing wrong with, for example, having a break from photography and trying some writing instead.
Though since I was a child I loved crosswords, and now I feel more like frustrated with them (my memory is worse with the age) than enjoying them. So, I think I can understand the dilemma you have 😊
