A Sonnet

(I got bored so i wrote a sonnet to share *^^*)

Emptiness has become a big part of life,

Over and over, I don’t know why I try,

To figure out the pains that cut like a knife,

What can we do with hopelessness passing by?

Keeping up, trying to comprehend, can’t time wait?

I hope some day, as I’m waiting for a sign,

Thoughts of defeat everytime, is this my fate?

Perhaps the stars will finally realign.

Fading to gray in this unrelenting world,

Healing the void where light and peace are there,

My mind so fogged, in quicker doubt, I curled,

I can’t pretend to hide the truth or care.

If only a hand could reach out right now,

Through silencing days, a bright spark will beam,

and save my soul, if only somehow,

what a beautiful fleeting dream it seems.
