Hi everyone.

What do you find to be the most relaxing arts & craft project?

For me, coloring & making different things out of resin.

I'll have to post some pictures soon, it was requested previously. 🤗

@Ralien

Not really sure if this counts as arts and crafts, but these are what I typically enjoy doing:

  • Digital drawing / photoshopping depending on my mood.
  • Writing down powerful quotes and using washi tape to stick them up around my room on colorful paper creating a fun design.
  • Acrylic painting if I have time and access to supplies.

@Ralien

I'm ADHD, and down side of that is super impulsive. I change preferences depending on mood and hyperfocus, so unfortunately I can't decorate my room with posters. So as a compromise, quotes on sticky notes with washi tape make up for my need for easy to move around decorations. 😀

@Ralien I just drew it on wood. Then used a electric wood burning tool, to create shade and depth 😁

@Ralien thanks 🥰 it took me like 5 hours, because it had a lot of details. It takes time to do it but is very relaxing and the results are beautiful.

I also recommend embroidery and painting with watercolors 💛

So far I’ve just done adult coloring books and I’m in iop and have art therapy and we’ve used different art mediums. I like pastels and plan on getting some soon.
