✈️ What is your favorite travel story?✈️

BleuPhoenix June 10th, 2020

Maybe it was an unfortunate tale of a misplaced luggage, the most awe-struck visit of your favorite place in the world, or adventuring on a road trip instead of a plane, travel stories are some great reminders of a past endeavor. Over time, they tend to become everlasting memories whether they are funny, inspirational, or emotional.

What is your favorite travel experience or story?

My favorite was my trip to Reno, Nevada around Thanksgiving last year! I was so excited as it was my first ever time seeing snow, let alone so much snow everywhere on the road and over the trees! It just feels so magical to me as I spent most of my life living in a tropical country and we'd be lucky if we get a cool day, let alone a cold one :) The weather was awesome <3

(Great ideea...)

My life is full of them...

People think of motorcycle perspns helping each other...

But back in the day motorists helpeed each other too, when someone was stranded on the road, someone would stop to help...I had the missfortune to have two flat tires on my trip...a fellow motorist driving the same car as me gave me his spare tire and told me, here is my adress, you get my spare tyre when you can...and I did...nowadays you don't find that anymore...

I smile since before my major depression, my life is full of travel stories...😶

One time, my mother and I got stuck at the airport for like two days because our flights kept getting delayed. I remember sleeping in the airport and playing Minecraft on my iPad O_O

@BleuPhoenix

Hi and thanks for asking

One of my favourite travel stories was at Goa Lawah,Bali - I was buying souvenirs and giftsat the market and suddenly realised that I had spent all the money I'd had on me. I was travelling by motorcycle and about 2 hour's ride from my motel, and worried about whether I would have enough money to buy petrol on the way back. (with few - if any - ATMs with Cirrus on the journey back, at the time) The people at the temple were worried about me and actually took up a collection and between them they gave me more than 40 000 rupiah, more than enough to fill my petrol tank at the time. I was so touched by the generosity of these selfless people, who often earn less than that amount in an entire day. I always love to stop at Goa Loa when I visit Bali.

Not a huge story but I went to Canada and saw Niagra Falls at night. They had fireworks and lights on the falls, it looked so pretty and I really enjoyed that time there
