Discussion:

1. What do you know about aboriginal culture and values?

2. Why do you think raising awareness about indigenous cultures and values is important?

I do know that land was taken away in very dishonest ways as it also was in Canada and the USA. I believe a lot needs to be done when it comes to aboriginal rights and to make people aware of the atrocities that took place and in some countries like Canada still are taking place. Because of what happened multi generational trauma takes place in families and that also needs to be addressed.

@Margiewm

I completely agree with you. There is still oppression towards indigenous people all over the world and many people do not realize this is still happening. Therefore, it is crucial to raise awareness about those issues. Is there any other way that comes to your mind that could be done to help those people?
