Writing the small article on loneliness (Discussion 6) went pretty well. I think I did a good job there.
@ouiCherie
- Which discussion was the last you completed?
I last finished Reviewing and Promoting Current Articles
- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
Iβm currently in the process of submitting the course quiz and waiting for my title to be approved So far I feel the quiz is more time consuming than I imaged but Iβll try to see it as good practice for my article
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
Completing the coursework participation form. Helpful tips include making sure you both document the answers you write in a separate sheet and subscribe to the threads along with keeping the course guide and checking off what you finished and put dates of your deadlines.
@Mari228
Hello, M!
Yayy, you completed the coursework part. You should be proud!
I'm sure you did well on the quiz. π Best of luck for your article.
I'm glad you found the coursework completion form helpful. π
- Which discussion was the last you completed?
I completed a rough draft of my article before moving on to the activity in #6. It was a lot but I had flash backs of writing papers in high school where I would wait until the last minute to cram and just wanted to get the bulk of it out of the way first.
- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
I spend a bit of time proof reading and editing to avoid over using words/phrases.
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
For the other activities, I find it helpful to read some of the other responses first to get an idea of the general format.
@ouiCherie
- Which discussion was the last you completed?
Discussion 4, Team Lightship: Tweeting Empathy
2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
So far, things are going well, but I know things will get more challenging in part II
3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
I enjoyed making the social media graphics. I'm currently part of Team Lightship, but I haven't' made my own graphics to tweet before, so it was nice to make my own.
@ouiCherie
Week 3 Progress Report
- Which discussion was the last you completed?
I just completed Content 11
- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
I struggled a little bit with creating a headline for my article but I believe I found a really good one now.
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
I already started writing the article and its going well. A good tip when writing articles is to first brainstorm by jotting down every idea you have and expand on them. Good luck everyone!
Week 1/2
- Ive completed all of Part 1 & 2.
- i tend to overthink how i answer questions and stress if im understanding the question correctly . sometimes i add more than asked for just incase
- i think so far my favorite part and what went well was the lightship and creating graphics. another is that i was able to come up with a title for my article that was approved
Tips: donβt overwhelm yourself. do alittle at a time
@heathermarie95
Hi, Heather!
Wow, well done on completing the coursework. π
I can understand and relate, actually. Thank you for putting so much care into your answers. I appreciate you going above and beyond.
So good to hear you've found some favourite parts from the coursework. Great work on the article title and for getting approved. I hope you enjoy the article-writing process; best of luck!
Thank you for the lovely tip and reminder not to get overwhelmed. π
Week 3/4
as ive completed Parts 1&2 I have been working on the article itself, researching as well as piecing everything togethet little by little by little. ive also decided on the electives which will be creating a growth path and the #1 which is the graphics
option.
dont mind the typos lol π
@heathermarie95
Hello, Heather!
Little by little is good π so things feel more manageable.
Good luck on your article and electives. Sounds exciting!

WEEK 4 PROGRESS REPORT
Which discussion was the last you completed?
I just completed Content 13 and did both the Coursework Part II Participation Report Form and Coursework Completion Quiz. I also submitted my article
What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
I had no problem writing the article but I was quite nervous to submit it. I kept proofreading over and over.
What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
I did great on the quiz and I feel like I did good when writing the article. I suggest to organize your time well because there was a lot of coursework for me to do and if I wasnβt organized I might have forgotten some things.
@ouiCherie
- Which discussion was the last you completed?
I am currently working on 5 graphics elective and I got 2 of them done already.
- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
Honestly, I wasn't sure what elective I should do because they all sounded very interesting to me.
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
The graphics are going very well, I hope the 7 Cups members are able to post them on their *** once I finish them!
@sellistens
Hello, Sel,
Ooh, great choice of elective!
For sure. It was a tough decision for me, too. I'm glad you found them all interesting.
I'm so happy to hear the creating process was going very well. Yess, I hope to see them posted π
@ouiCherie
1. Which discussion was the last you completed?
8-Content categories and topic of interest at 7 Cups.
2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
Finding an article to write content while also adding some of my personal experiences to strengthen it. I'm used to writing either one or the other, so finding a balance has been challenging, but I'm sure I will get the hang of it.
3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
Things have been going well, and I've been staying on track. I'm doing better than I anticipated which is great.
Hello, @kindheartedLily

I completed the 5 graphics elective and Iβm now working on the time management class

I was a little overwhelmed with the time management course but I am pushing through it
What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
I loved making the 5 graphics! Very fun! I hope they are posted on 7 Cups ***!
@sellistens
Hi, Sel!
Yayy, great work on the graphics and best of luck for the time management course! I find the course insightful; I hope you enjoy your *time* through it, hehe.
The time management course has a lot of steps, and the practical component takes a while to complete, too. I can understand why it can get overwhelming. Sending you lots of support; I'm sure you'll complete it swimmingly. π
I can tell your love for graphics-creation by how amazing your designs are! Glad you enjoyed it. I hope they get posted, too; I can't wait to see your beautiful creations. π
