I'm starting my electives and since I struggled a little with time management I'm choosing the time management course as my elective. The other is attending 4 academy sessions which I already have.

6) Ensuring Best Writing Practices

I was a bit overwhelmed in my personal life that I get a creativity block on this topic. So I struggled a bit with writing the first paragraph of the article. I'm thankful that I manage to tackle it yesterday, so I can continue with the next materials.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help other.

If you have a creativity block or when life overwhelms you, it's totally okay. The program is made so that you can still enjoy life outside of this program. Take your time and enjoy your life outside of this program. When the time has come when you can focus again and learn with the program, you'll know it and you'll manage to start it again. It's totally okay to focus on your life first and do some reset if you need it.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

I struggled a bit with the Q&A answer because it was such a generalized question and I didn't know what direction to take it in. I think I did ok in the end though. I hope the hypothetical member was able to get something from my answer 😉

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

I enjoyed making a social media graphic. It was nice to make my idea come to life and to make it nice and colourful. I used Canva to do it which is a pretty user-friendly program and there are lots of tutorials on how to use it on youtube that you can watch if you find yourself having trouble.

Week 4-7 completed.

I was swamped with the exams during week 4, and I was applying for an extension of 2 weeks so that I could celebrate Eid with my family during week 5 and week 6.

I was struggling with where I could find the expert articles to backlink to and audit. Turns out, the link was in the discussion on 11) Headlining and Sub-Headlining Effective Content Pieces. For those of you struggling as well. Here's the link to find the expert articles that have been created.

If you need to have a holiday with your family or have troubles in your personal life, you can definitely apply for an extension and inform the mentors. I'm really thankful that the mentors have accepted my extension form so I can enjoy the Eid holiday with my family and help my grandparents' in my village. Cheers and good luck to you all!

I made my biography far too long and wordy at first.

I came up with a strong title for my article. @Train1 was very helpful. Also, this writing tool was helpful in terms of slimming down some of my writing and making it easier to read https://hemingwayapp.com/

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right for the first time around?

Making my title and creating my article. My title did not reach a score of 60 yet, but the mentor has helped me through it.

I have completed all the discussions and the final quiz and have now moved on to writing my article.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

I've been struggling a bit with my article. I feel I chose a topic that isn't unique enough and there is already a lot of information out there about it. I've resolved to complete the article and write a second one on a lesser-known topic.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

The final quiz went well. I feel that the course content prepared me well for it. I suggest reviewing the course content before you start the quiz.
