@ouiCherie

I'm writing this to summarize my update for the past few weeks that I've missed out on this report.

Which discussion was the last you completed?

Since I last updated my progress, I have completed my first article and now, half of my FPE task 1 which is to create 5 forum posts. *Pending to achieve further requirements through the posts.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

For my first article, I struggled to get a title with a high SEO score because I was using a different SEO analyzer which showed different results. Hence, my title was rejected twice.

For my FPE forum posts, I must say I felt a little intimidated in the beginning to post anything in the sub-community forums. Mainly because I was afraid I might not get any replies lol but luckily I was proven wrong. People in the community are extremely kind and willing to share their input to your questions or fun activity.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

I have to thank @ouiCherie, @Train1 and @Izzy274 for really guiding me throughout this program. They are truly amazing for being so patient to guide me and always open to answering any questions I bring up. They also provide valuable feedback on my work which boosts my confidence to do better and more.

For those like me who can get easily overwhelmed, I would suggest taking breaks and completing one task at a time. It helps with focus and it's always rewarding to check off one thing on your list before moving to another.

@sshn07

You aced Forum contents, S! Creative, relevant, completed with open-ended questions or easy to follow activities. Most importantly, you responded to people who responded to your contents in an empathetic way. Hats off! This post is a big hit 👏😍

I'm glad to hear you've got adequate supports in the program. Thank you @Train1 and @Izzy274 🤍

Great tips! It's good to keep going at a comfortable pace. Thanks for the update and check-in, S!

Which discussion was the last you completed?

I completed Step 2: Community Questions and Answers.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

So far so good. It was recommended that I add a link from a verified source. I am waiting to hear back about what would be in line with my post. I replied with a link to a wellness blog that offered Journal Prompts on Self Love.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

As I wrote my reply with a keyword list in front of me, I crossed out each word and bolded it in my draft. It helped me keep track of not only what I was writing but gave me ideas as I wrote.

The last discussion I completed was the 5th one.

I struggled with receiving so much constructive feedback this week. I didn’t expect so much and it made me feel a bit inadequate if I’m honest. I know it’s only to help me improve though so shouldn’t shake my confidence this much.

@YellowButton223

I hear you Button. I'm glad you're taking it with a growth mindset. I'm very proud of you!

If it can help a bit, just today at work, I had a task to get employees feedback. I was literally a public shooting target. It's tough indeed. But it's also helpful otherwise I may be oblivious.

Ofcourse we can review the feedback and decide what we can or need to accomodate for improvements.

Here is a lesson in Leadership Development Program (LDP) on how to receive feedback

I think you're progressing so well so far 😊 Your best is always adequate.

1. Which discussion was the last you completed? Discussion 3

2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around? Incorporating keywords into my answer for the Q&A activity was a challenge for me.

3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

I am happy that I chose to work when I was in the mood even though I completed some things early (as opposed to waiting until just before they were due). I also chose to preview the activities so I could think about how I wanted to complete them before jumping in.

Each week, we would like you to reply to this thread answering the following three questions:

  1. Which discussion was the last you completed?
    i am done with all the discussions, i am done with the entire program. Can someone please message me to let me know what is going on with my graduation date please... i have been waiting weeks now... and still have not understood why no mentor has reached out to let me know when this date is and when i will be receiving my certificate, i did everything according to the program and i even had an extension which i am grateful for... so i made sure i finished everything i was suppose too. so if this can please be addressed in detail to me. that would be awesome
  2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
    the articles as i actually felt in the coursework 1 there was an article to write and ended up writing for no reason but then it turned out i could use the second article for my second extra article.
  3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
    I loved the forum choice, i picked the five forums i felt that it wasn't going to work out to my advantage and it actually went well better then i thought! i am so happy, as i really have a lot of support and replies on my forums and the members/listeners take great fun in some of my awesome activities! makes me feel heard and also i feel it makes them feel heard as well, and that's what really brings this community together for me:)

  1. Which discussion was the last you completed? I have completed till discussion 8.
  2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around? Till now smooth sailing. Faced few hiccups initially but program mentors are really helpful and guided me on time.
  3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others. The most helpful thing, I found is when I go through materials of other trainees. It really gives me whole new perspective and also it helps me to improve my work.

@NotFound20

Yay! Good to hear that, Found!

Utilise mentors to assist during the program is a good idea!

Review previous trainees work can help us see different perspectives and trigger new ideas. Cheers for the insight! 🤍

1. 4th discussion

2. Creating a social media post was kinda hard

3. I loved writing about 'What do you do when you don't feel good enough for someone?'. My tips would be to think about your own experiences a lot and have empathy.

Yay! First part done ✔️ for a confirmation, we have received your Trial Completion submission.

Please continue, If any revision needed, a mentor will reach out to you.

First few trials of graphic designing can be hard indeed, but like any skills, the more we use it, the easier it will be 🤍

A gentle reminder to submit Coursework Completion Quiz here for part I.

You're on spot with the tip. Brilliant!

Thank you for the check-in and the tip Elysian!

  1. Which discussion was the last you completed? Discussion 3.
  2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around? I think that the assignment with the graphic was something I can do better on. Maybe by adding the hashtags to the picture. I received an example that was very helpful.
  3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others. I think that finishing the assignments early are helpful, as is checking on completed assignments for feedback. I have one outstanding assignment that is due tomorrow. I was able to finish most of the assignments early.

Which discussion was the last you completed?

- D13, I have successfully completed all of the discussions. All that I have left to do is my First Article Submission and my Further Experience assignment selections

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

- I'm still learning how to focus on relaxing and reading the directions thoroughly before focusing on getting through the assignment. It lessens the pressure of getting it done when you realize the instructions are very clear and helpful!

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

- My mini burn out led to even more creative ideas and findings to use in my assignments. I'm very excited to release some of my graphic designs soon ☺️

Back again for another weekly check in!

The last discussion I completed was the 13th one.

I struggled with getting my article title approved this week- the mentor who gave me feedback on it wasn’t clear and was 2 days late so it wasn’t a very smooth experience, which made this week more stressful than I’d anticipated, but it’s turned out okay in the end.

1.Which discussion was the last you completed?

A. I finished assignment D4 and now I'm working on the D6 assignment.

2.What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

A. I feel kinda lonely since I didn't receive any feedbacks on my responses yes though there are many students in my batch of July 18 2022. Also I was wondering if I could re-do and submit my assignments again if I'm not satisfied with them.

3.What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

A. Read all the comments of your peers carefully and analyze their ideas and posts. It provides a lot of inspiration and insight for your work.
