Bipolar hallucination?

I'm bipolar and on my low swings it's depression as usual. When I'm on my high swings though I don't feel euphoric or uninhibited, instead I experience a strong sense of derealization and my mind will create things that aren't there. I become very nervous, jumpy, and even paranoid. Does this happen to anyone else?

@Waistdeep Yes, sadly I've experienced this, too. I think my brain just gets overactive.
