Proud of myself
Hello,
This is my first time posting and I am a lit scared. I just wanted to say I was happy with myself since yesterday after more than 2 weeks in my apartment, I was able to go out where the public is and run some errands without feeling stress, overwelled and not having a panich attack. Usually, I have anxiety about going out and only image the worse, but this time I took the time to mentally prepare myself before stepping out. It feels nice to overcome my fear and I hope I will be able to do good next time too. Proud of myself!

That is great that you were able to get out of your apartment and run the errands. It is fantastic that you are learning how to prepare yourself mentally for the challenges. What other goals do you think that you can plan to achieve?

Keep getting out. The more you go places the easier it gets. Panic will happen, and that’s ok. The thing about panic and anxiety is it’s just a temporary feeling. It will pass.
@Purrself8 Hey I just wanted to say, I'm really proud of you and you deserve to be patting yourself on the shoulder like this. Thank you for posting about your growth and I hope that others can see this and feel inspired and motivated by you. Something to think about for you: what are some possible extra goals you could set for yourself? When you were outside what's something you've noticed that made you smile or curious? How can you use your current experiences to strengthen and improve yourself?
I really look forward to hearing more about your progress and I hope that next time you go out - you do so with the thought that you're successfully conquering your anxiety :)

I’m so proud of you! That’s a real MASSIVE step forward. All that mental preparation and work you’ve been doing on yourself is real good and is paying off. And it feels good, doesn’t it? Of course you’ll be able to do it again. And again. And again. You’ll get stronger everyday.
