Panic attack

Has anyone else had a panic attack? I’ve always been normal/healthy my whole life but ever since I had a panic attack a couple years ago I just haven’t felt the same. It’s always something. Sometimes I have good days but I just haven’t felt like my old self since. I was just wondering if anyone else feels like their attack “changed” you??

100!!!!!! I started having them in the middle of the night in October for absolutely no reason at all. I went on meds and then it just spiraled from there. It’s scary because I have no clue what the trigger was. It’s like being afraid of your own thoughts. It’s awful.

Ya it seems like mine are random too. One minute I’ll be fine and the next I think I’m dying. I thought I was having a heart attack

it helped me better unrstand myself

It just seems like now I wonder every day if I’m dying! Everytime I have a pain I wonder if something is wrong. Before the attack I was never that way or had those thoughts.

@FootballHead93 i have an anxiety disorder and im always anxious on a daily i have panic and anixety attacks and they take over me, i can't control myself and im not myself naymore, i don't even know who myself was anymore idk waht to do w myself anymore

We will get through this! It’s just amazing how one day I’ll feel pretty good and the next can be awful

@FootballHead93 So sorry to hear this.

I can relate some to having panic attacks.

I use to get them when I was a teen, but not so much now as an adult.

What helped me to overcome my panic issues as therapy as a teen.

It was really helpful.

But you have to find what will work for you.

I hope this helps you somewhat.
