Loneliness

Flowerlils9526 July 8th, 2020

Anyone else out there feel more lonely in a room of people you know than you do when you are on your own for days at a time?

i am currently working in a pub that I used to drink in at weekends and I feel more lonely doing it than I did when I was working on my own for 5 days at a time.

Anxiety has been awful this week and now it seems to be increasing with loneliness creeping in on top of it all :(

@Flowerlils9526 don't be so harsh on yourself, it sounds like you are more of an introvert hence why you enjoy the alone time more. Also this quarantine doesn't help the loneliness but maybe allow yourself the "me time" you need to recover and then space it out with being out with others so you get some social time too. I've been focusing on my crafts and hobbies, listening to old music I enjoy and taking full advantage of having this time off before we have to go into full speed crazy modern mode again. Sigh, hope this helps.
