Headaches and Anxiety

Recently, I’ve been having anxiety attacks with terrible headaches. My taste for food has changed, I get strong cravings, and I don’t even feel pleasure satisfying them. It’s been horrible trying to manage those symptoms just to get to work.

Anyone has experienced something like that? How did you handle it?

@Mshadows I'm sorry to hear your experiences and feelings... It is true that there are many times when everyone feels pressure. I think we must face him bravely, because many times it may be a disease of the brain, so I think it may be necessary to use drugs. treat.

This sounds very familiar to me. One thing I did for anxiety and panic attacks was using Headspace (I'm sure there are similar meditation apps or options that are free but that's the one I use). They actually have an SOS feature I used for really bad moments. I found it just too hard to try to calm myself down without outside guidance.

As for the headaches, honestly if they are migraines like mine, the best solution I found was ibuprofen and a caffeine pill, because a lot of prescription options make you super drowsy and you might not be able to stay at work with them.

For the food cravings, I totally understand. Sometimes it would seem like I couldn't stop thinking about eating a certain thing until I caved in and junked out. And then i didn't feel any better. It turned into excessive snacking. The basic theory is to delay satisfying your craving for increasing lengths of time, or to distract with something else that can occupy your mind. However, I will be totally honest. I switched antidepressants and suddenly the cravings stopped. Not sure if you take any or are considering taking any for depression reasons but it made an amazing difference for me.
